Are you doing the holiday movie marathon thing with your friends and family? You’re going to need snacks and popcorn is a classic movie snack for a reason and candied popcorn is the sweet treat that cinema popcorn was born to be. If you really want to add some of that South African goodness, Amarula Candy Popcorn is the treat you’ve been waiting for. It’s got that caramel popcorn greatness with a dash of Amarula which makes every movie even better.

Amarula is a South African cream liqueur renowned for its richness and creamy texture. Remember that when making your caramel, be very careful not to burn yourself as sugar burns can be severe. Your caramel will come out perfectly with this recipe and will be like store-bought candied popcorn, but much better. It will be crunchy, sweet and you’ll be eating it by the handful. So, make sure you make enough as this recipe is easily adjustable.
