Chocolate chip cookies: Can teatime get better than this?

Addictive and incredible tasty, these chocolate chip cookies will easily become everyone’s favourite.

Add a chocolaty flavour to teatime with these chocolate chip cookies. These delicious bites are always welcome and tend to disappear faster than any other biscuit in the cookie jar.

What makes these chocolate chip cookies so special is the chocolate morsels or roughly chopped slab chocolate added to the cookie dough. This results in the most delicious snack which every chocoholic will love.

Preparing these cookies will not even take 30 minutes of your time. Within 5 minutes you can prepare the cookie dough and flatten them with a fork on a baking tray. Next, pop into the oven for 15 minutes or until golden and you are all done!

Ingredients

  • 180 g 180 butter

  • 375 ml 375 cake flour

  • 8 ml 8 baking powder

  • 60 ml 60 sugar

  • 30 ml 30 condensed milk

  • 1 ml 1 vanilla essence

  • 125 ml 125 chocolate morsels or slab chocolate, roughly chopped

Method

  • Melt the butter.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder and sugar into a bowl.
  • Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. Add the condensed milk, vanilla and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  • Mix in the chocolate morsels.
  • Roll heaped tablespoonful of the mixture into balls.
  • Please on a greased oven and try and flatten with a fork.
  • Bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes or until golden.
