The best part is that these peanut butter cacao balls do not require any baking. Just make sure you allow these tasty balls to cool in the fridge for at least one hour before enjoying them.

Wondering how to store these goodies? Your prepared peanut butter oat balls should be stored in the fridge, covered. You can keep them in the fridge for up to four weeks. Refrigerating the balls will ensure they keep their thick and chewy texture. If you want to store them for longer, place them in a zip lock bag and store them in the freezer for up to six months.

Ingredients

  • cups rolled oats

  • ½ cup cacao powder

  • ¾ cup peanut butter

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, add the oats and cacao and mix well, until combined.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the peanut butter and maple syrup. Microwave until the peanut butter has melted.
  • Add the peanut butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Using your hands, form small balls using the batter and place them on a lined plate.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour, to firm up.
