Ingredients

  • 2 cups Schoonbee Landgoed pure orange juice or freshly squeezed oranges

  • 2 Schoonbee Landgoed oranges, peeled and cut into pieces for serving

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

  • salt

  • 3 tablespoons light sour cream

  • ground cardamom

Method

  • Stir two tablespoons of maple syrup and a pinch of salt into the orange juice and transfer to a shallow dish.
  • Freeze for two hours, scraping with a fork every 30 minutes. The mixture should be icy and fluffy.
  • Meanwhile, stir together the sour cream, the remaining tablespoon of maple syrup, a pinch of salt and cardamom.
  • Divide among four bowls and top with the frozen granita and orange segments.
