The South African website called on film students around the country to get creative – and win.
Registered students at a South African university, college or similar were encouraged to document a social issue facing our country today.
With the entry deadline now having passed, judges have shortlisted three submissions for the R10 000 first prize and the second prize of R5 000.
The overall winner will be determined by a public vote (25%) in conjunction with a panel of expert judges in the field of filmmaking (75%).
Voting is now open and will close on Friday, 30 June 2023 at 12:00 (SA time).
The winner and runner-up will be announced later that same day.
