Best known for his on-screen character on Generations: The Legacy as Gadaffi, Vuyo Dabula was one of the most sought-after actors, but everything changed in a blink of an eye.

The celebrated actor was famous for his role in Generations: The Legacy, where he starred alongside award-winning actors like Vusi Kunene, who starred as Jack Mabaso and Rapulana Seiphemo, who played the on-screen character of Tau. However, his stay at Generations: The Legacy was marred with contract woes.

REASONS BEHIND GENERATIONS THE LEGACY’ EXIT REVEALED

Since his dramatic exit, he seems to have not bounced back on small screens in soap operas. According to Savanna News, he dumped Generations: The Legacy for the Netflix series Queen Sono at some point, but things went south as the series was canned.

In the wake of his newfound fame, the Generations: The Legacy showrunners gave Gadaffi an ultimatum to choose between Netflix’s African Original series Queen Sono or Generations: The Legacy. He dumped Generations not once but twice.

His stint on Queen Sono was short-lived, as it was cancelled. In the wake of the dramatic cancellation, he had to find his way back to Generations, only to be written off through arrest.

In 2022 Gadaffi from Generations: The Legacy bounced back with a lead role on Collision, and that was the last time he graced small screens. Since then, he is yet to star in big-budget productions. In the wake of his woes, he has been spotted around theatres lately.

SOCIAL MEDIA LOW-KEY PROFILE QUESTIONED

Of late, Gadaffi from Generations: The Legacy has been keeping a low profile, even on social media. The actor deleted almost all his social media pictures, leaving only a few. He had to delete more than 100 pictures on Instagram. No doubt, this has often left Mzansi wondering if he was ok or not.
