‘Skeem Saam’ double-bill episode: Babeile hunts down Meikie
Will Babeile catch Meikie or will she skip the country? Leeto needs answers from his mother about his real father.

Now you see her, now you don’t!
If you didn’t fall off your bed or couch last night because of Meikie’s (Harriet Manamela) sudden appearance, you were probably occupied.
Meikie emerged at the end of the last night’s episode — unrecognisable. The character was dressed like a “hobo”, spoke like a mafia boss, and freaked out at her poor husband John (Africa Tsoai).
Meikie turns into Chuck Norris’s wife!
John got the fright of his life when Meikie asked him “Oya kae?” which loosely translates to “where are you off to/going.”
It felt like a scene from one of Chuck Norris’s movies and Meikie was Chuck Norris’s wife!
Viewers were at the edge of their seats before Meikie’s arrival.
LEETO NEEDS ANSWERS
Then Leeto asked John who his father is.
- Leeto (Eric Macheru) said that he noticed that he doesn’t look like any of his family members.
- He said he couldn’t wait for his mother to return.
- He wanted answers from John who was just as shocked as the rest of us.
- John was so shocked, he gave him lame answers.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE DOUBLE-BILL EPISODE
An extra episode will air tomorrow to make up for Monday’s episode:
- Rumours of Meikie’s escape will spread like wildfire in Turfloop and Babeile (Mathews Manamela) will come searching for her at the Maputla home.
- We’ll also see Leeto tell a helpless to leave town with her son.
- This means that Leeto will visit Mantuli (Dieketseng Mnisi) in the hospital and will tell her to leave town Kwaito.
- Will Meikie go back to jail and will she get bail?
