Scandal!’s Lerumo Chabedi played by Tshepo Howza Mosese, and Seipati played by Nolo Seabi, have proven that love conquers all.

Viewers saw them finally tying the knot in a traditional ceremony this past Monday (22 November) in front of their family and friends.

‘FIGHTING TO STAY TOGETHER’

Seabi stated in an interview with Sowetan that Lerumo and Seipaiti fought to stay together and have proven that their love is meant to be.

They stayed together from riches to rags as they moved from the Newtonian Hotel to Mlungisi’s (Patrick Mofokeng) backroom.

Their relationship was tested when Lerumo was in a relationship with Yvonne (Kgomotso Christopher) and Seipati’s ex-boyfriend, Bohang (Thabo Malema), came back into her life.

But things worked out in the end when Bohang died and Lerumo ended his long-distance relationship with Yvonne.

Seabi tells the publication:

“How things fell into place for Lerumo and Seipati was just so cute.”

“He ended things with Yvonne just to be with Seipati, that to me is beautiful because he believed in his love for her.”

It took time for Mosese’s character, Lerumo, to settle down again after his marriage to his first love, Anzani fell apart because she was the love of his life.

Mosese explains why Seipati is different from his first wife, Anzani (Fulu Mugovhani) and why Seipati is better for Lerumo.

“I believe Lerumo had found the love of his life, which was Anzani who he was married to for years but to me, Seipati is the perfect fit for him to settle down with.”

“Their love for each other just fits on like a glove, well according to me.”

The actor adds that the Anzani kind of love saw Lerumo at his most vulnerable because he was coming from a very terrible background that lacked love and affection.

MOSESE’S EXIT FROM ‘SCANDAL!’

The actor-musician, Tshepo ‘Howza’ Mosese surprised Mzansi in June when he announced his departure from the popular soapie to revive his Kwaito roots.

He stated in an interview that it wasn’t an easy decision to make but it felt like the right time for him to embark on new challenges and push himself out of his comfort zone.

“I have enjoyed playing this character, but I am ready to cut my teeth playing different characters again.”

“Being on a soapie for an extended period of time doesn’t always allow one the freedom to work on other projects and that is what I want to do.”
