‘The Estate’ actor Sdumo Mtshali replaces Siphesihle Vazi in ‘Makoti’

‘The Estate’ star Sdumo Mtshali – has replaced seasoned actor Siphesihle Vazi in SABC1’s ‘Makoti. Vazi recently scored a role in ‘The Queen’.

The Estate actor Sdumo Mtshali has been announced as the new Mthokozisi in SABC1’s dramedy Makoti after Siphesihle Vazi’s exit.   

This is after Vazi landed a role in Mzansi Magic’s canned telenovela The Queen.

SDUMO MTSHALI LANDS ROLE AS MTHOKOZISI  

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has announced that The Estate actor Sdumo Mtshali has joined season two of Makoti as Mthokozisi after Siphesihle exited the dramedy for The Queen.   

Vazi will play one of Brutus’ sons in the Mzansi Magic show.  

SABC1 has announced the return of the drama series Makoti on the 11th of April 2022. Makoti will be broadcast from Mondays to Wednesdays at 19:30.  

Makoti is a dramedy that involves a young couple who are preparing to wed but have a few issues to deal with before tying the knot.  

The bride is played by former The Wife actress and DJ Thuli Phongolo – who plays the role of Lilitha.  

Phongolo’s mother is played by legendary actress Tina Jaxa and Mike Mvelase plays the role of Mthoko’s father.

SIPHESIHLE VAZI EXITS ‘MAKOTI’  

The popular actor Siphesihle Vazi was recently announced as one of Brutus Khoza’s (Themba Ndaba) sons in The Queen.   

This is after Mzansi Magic announced that the show will be cancelled after six successful seasons. The Queen will premiere its finale 7th season in July 2022 and conclude in January 2023.  

Mzansi Magic recently paid tribute to the show for delivering riveting storylines over the years.

“As the M-Net Local Entertainment channels, we would like to applaud the producers, cast, and crew of The Queen and Lingashoni for their dedication to delivering riveting storylines and award-winning content in highly contested primetime slots.”

“We look forward to the thrills of the next 12 months as both productions draw towards their respective finales,” said Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net.
