Shria’s relationship with her father – Maharaj will intensify in Imbewu: The Seed April when she blames him for losing her job.
Yuveer is jealous of their father’s relationship with her and realises that their father loves her more.

‘IMBEWU: THE SEED’: YUVEER SHOOTS MAHARAJ
The TVSA Imbewu: The Seed April teasers have revealed that Shria’s father – Maharaj will get shot and that his son – Yuveer might be responsible for his shooting.
The Monday 4 April teaser reads:
“A stranger enters the house and shoots Maharaj. Will Maharaj make it? Who is trying to kill Maharaj?”
Shria is going to invite Maharaj to live with her and her mother – Nirupa (Jailoshini Naidoo) in their house after he assisted her to get her job back.
Their reunion won’t last though as Nirupa will tell him to move out after his shooting.
The Wednesday 6 April teaser reads:
“At the hospital, Yuveer attempts to murder Maharaj, but he wakes up.”
The teasers have also revealed that Maharaj will need a kidney transplant on the black market.

SHRIA: FALSE PREGNANCY?
The Wednesday 27 April teasers reveal that Jyothi will get the wrong end of the stick about Shria and Jason’s relationship.
She is going to spread rumours that Shria is pregnant with his baby which is why they’re rushing to get married.
Shria (Kajal Maharaj) is going to pretend she is pregnant when her mother confronts her so that she and Jason can get married.
The April teasers also reveal that Shria will lose her job once again and that she will blame her father for this.
PREDICTION: Her half-brother Yuveer may be responsible for her losing her job because he wants to ruin her reputation and relationship with their father.
Maharaj (Jack Devnarain) loves Shria more than Yuveer and wants Shria’s acceptance and love and wouldn’t risk losing her again.
We are going to see Maharaj reaching out to her after his operation as he wants to have a relationship with his daughter.
