Gareth Cliff will host a weekly current affairs talk show on eTV, debuting on Wednesday.
Controversial radio personality Gareth Cliff will make a return to television as host of new weekly discussion show So What Now, eMedia confirmed on Friday.
The show will premiere on Wednesday 17 June, as Cliff discusses current affairs with a variety of guests.
His appointment comes just after award-winning investigative journalist, Devi Sankaree-Govender – whose own show debuts this Friday on eNCA and eTV – joined eMedia.
eMedia Investments chief executive, Khalik Sherrif said the new programs signal a move towards more thought-provoking content.
“eMedia wants to ensure that it remains definitive with outstanding, entertaining, and informative programming. And the inclusion of personalities such as Gareth Cliff will ensure that difficult conversations will be had, no matter how provocative it seems at the outset. With Gareth and Devi joining us, we are moving towards the narrative of being more informative, more thought-provoking, and more challenging.”Khalik Sherrif, eMedia Investments CEO
