Radio personality and actor Mohale Motaung has scored a role in e.tv’s raunchy drama series The Black Door as Mo Jack.  

Motaung who also previously bagged a role in e.tv’s canned soapie Rhythm City will debut tomorrow night (3 June), according to TVSA.

E.tv’s popular series The Black Door will get actor and radio personality Mohale Motaung as its second celebrity guest appearance tomorrow night after entertainer Zodwa Wa Bantu appeared on the show last month.   

The rising star will enter the world of The Black Door as one of the patrons at the club, according to TVSA.   


Nomsa has a chronic illness and is scheduled for surgery and her son Khaya (played by Zamani Mbatha) isn’t there to see her off and his absence will shake their relationship.  

Mbatha’s character Khaya works as a sex worker and is the breadwinner in his family from his profession at the strip club. Khaya will be at The Black Door, mingling with Mo Jack a patron at the strip club played by Mohale Motaung.   

Question: Is Mo Jack to cause havoc for Khaya or is he there with good intentions?

The risque show is a fascinating, dramatic, and emotional story produced by Black Brain Pictures.   

It’s set in the high-class world of a pleasure dome brothel that caters to people’s fantasies for the right price.  

The risqué show – which is set in the high-stakes world of a pleasure-dome brothel, uncovering dramatic and emotional stories that will resonate with viewers – plays on e.tv on Monday to Fridays at 21:30 and shows off an array of graphics.  

The show replaced e.tv’s popular telenovela Imbewu: The Seed which now airs at 9 pm.
