‘Unfinished business with Hlengiwe’: Talented actor Kagiso Rathebe has returned to e.tv soapie ‘Scandal!’ as the psychotic Amo.

Fans of e.tv’s most-watched soapie – Scandal! were surprised to learn that Kagiso Rathebe, who plays Amo has returned to make Hlengiwe’s life hell.

WHY AMO RETURNED
TVSA reveals that the talented actor Kagiso Rathebe’s psychotic character Amo returned to Scandal! on Tuesday, 14 March as he has unfinished business with Hlengiwe.
Amo was released from prison after the kidnapping, terrorising both Dintle and Hlengiwe. Though it’s unclear at this stage why he was released, it appears prison hasn’t changed him as he’s back to stalking his ex-girlfriend Hlengiwe.
“His first action seems to be stalking Hlengiwe once again, however, he does insist that he just wants to apologise and means no harm to Hlengiwe at all”, reports the publication.
Hlengiwe won’t buy his apology and will investigate to find out why he was released from prison early and won’t be impressed with him as he stalked her first and sent her roses as before.
Viewers of the e.tv soapie will remember that Amo’s behaviour towards Hlengiwe changed after she dumped him for Dr Nyasha.
He stalked her, lived in her basement, installed cameras in her house, and messaged her new boyfriend Dr Nyasha by pretending to be his nonexistent wife.
