Actress Linda Sokhulu scores lead role in dramedy ‘Grown Woman’
‘7de Laan’ actress Linda Sokhulu will lead a star-studded cast in 1Magic’s new dramedy ‘Grown Woman’ as Tina Hlatshwayo.

Popular actress Linda Sokhulu will play the role of Tina Hlathswayo in 1Magic’s new dramedy Grown Woman.

INSIDE LINDA SOKHULU’E NEW ROLE
The actress Linda Sokhulu, who played Dr Tumi Selepe in 7de Laan will star alongside Nandi Nyembe, Bohang Moeko, Hlubi Mboya, and Bahumi Mhlongo in 1Magic’s Grown Woman.
According to Sunday World Linda Sokhulu’s character, Tina Hlatshwayo changes the narrative that life begins at 40, as she begins hers at 49.
She lost a husband a year ago and has a much younger and very hot lover played by Bohang Moeko.
She has to learn a new way of living with her children (Sakhile, played by Mahlangu, and Noxee, played by Mhlongo.
She spent 25 years raising her children and working and now has to look inward and figure out who she is and what makes her happy at 49 years.

1MAGIC CONFIRMS ‘GROWN WOMAN‘
Shirley Adonisi, who is the director of local entertainment channels at M-Net tells Sunday World: “Friday nights on 1Magic have become the home of edgy, boundary-pushing shows about women taking charge of their lives and narratives.”
“We’re excited to keep this genre going and to push it forward with the premiere of Grown Woman, and we can’t wait for our audiences to engage with it.”
Viewers can catch Grown Woman on 1Magic (DStv Channel 103) from 3 February at 9.30 pm.
