IMBEWU: THE SEED: NEW SCHEDULE

Duma Ndlovu’s popular shows Imbewu: The Seed and Muvhango will air at 9 pm from April along with Mzansi Magic’s telenovela – The Queen.

E.tv also revealed that it’s shaking up its schedule and bidding farewell to Days of our Lives.

The channel is focusing more on local content after hosting the US soapie for more than five years.

“It’s a difficult decision that we’ve had to make. We felt the time is right to focus on a much more local culture.”

“And we know that we will be bombarded with phone calls because the Days of Our Lives fans are loyal.”

“We start with Durban Gen, followed by House of Zwide, then going to Scandal! the news at 8 pm. 8.30 pm you come back and it’s Isono, then we’ve moved Imbewu.

“This time we’ve listened to our viewers who say they like to watch the show but it’s too late can you move it earlier.”

E.tv’s Marlon Davids said the 9.30 pm slot does so well that they thought they’d take full advantage of that and have some adult content on that slot.
