‘She is a star effortlessly’: Tweeps are coming to Uncle Waffles’ defence yet again after some claimed she’s stealing Young Stunna’s shine.

Uncle Waffles rises to the top of Twitter’s trending lists for several reasons every week. This time, Mzansi tweeps are claiming that the internet sensation is stealing Young Stunna’s “shine” for including his hit song Adiwele featuring Kabza De Small in her DJ sets.

TWEEPS CLAIM UNCLE WAFFLES IS STEALING YOUNG STUNNA’S SHINE

On Sunday 21 November, a Twitter user claimed that Uncle Waffles was using Young Stunna’s “hard work” to shine. The Twitter user also compared their Twitter following and matched Young Stunna’s 15 000 followers to her impressive following of 109 000. 

The tweep went further saying the 21-year-old DJ should make her own song and stop “using” Adiwele to get bookings. 

“While she was sleeping, Young Stunna was busy in studio trying to make a hit.. She woke up & choose to use like that.” 

‘WHAT DO YOU THINK DJS DO?’ 

Tweeps had several responses to the tweet and some tweeps were certainly left confused. 

One tweep wrote: “What do you think DJs do my brother?”

Another wrote: “Waffles was actually born for this damn. She is a star effortlessly and people hating forcefully.”

UNCLE WAFFLES’ ACHIEVEMENTS 

Since her video went viral, Uncle Waffles has caught the attention of several music giants outside of South Africa’s borders and she scored a follow from Drake! The 21-year-old DJ performed in Ghana on Sunday 7 November at an event called Amapiano & Brunch

She also bagged herself an interview on BBC Radio 1 where she explained how she got the gig that led to her viral video. 

“The person who was supposed to take that slot cancelled. Just like that, a 30-minute slot that was not supposed to be mine… Here I am today.”
