‘Scorpion Kings Live’: Amapiano duo announce star-studded lineup [listen]

Ami Faku, Msaki, Young Stunna, Blxckie and Kamo Mphela will share the stage with the Scorpion Kings on 22 July at the SunBet Arena.

Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa have wowed audiences across the globe as the Scorpion Kings for more than two years. With three albums under their belt, the amapiano duo are a force to be reckoned with. 

After postponing their live show in 2020, the Vula Vala hitmakers will perform at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Friday 22 July and they will share the stage with some of Mzansi’s top stars including Msaki, Ami Faku, Toss and Felo Le Tee.

‘SCORPION KINGS LIVE’ LINEUP 

The countdown to the highly-anticipated Scorpion Kings Live show has begun and with only a few days left, amapiano fans are jamming along to some of the duo’s biggest hits to get ready for the show.

In a statement sent to The South African, show producers Glen21 Entertainment and the Scorpion Kings have confirmed the lineup for their upcoming show on 22 July. 

Of course, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small will be hitting the decks but fans can also expect to hear Maphorisa’s alter ego, Madumane, who will be spitting some bars for the crowd. 

Other stars set to perform include Blxckie, Kamo Mphela, Mas Musiq, Aymos, Young Stunna, Myztro, Bontle, Nicole Elocin, Nia Pearl and Daliwonga. 

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW 

Tickets for the Scorpion Kings Live show are available online and start from R290. 

Amapiano lovers who purchased tickets for the 2020 show can exchange their tickets for the new date as the tickets are still valid for 22 July. 

Doors at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria open at 18:00.

‘SCORPION KINGS LIVE 2.0’

Ahead of their live show, the amapiano duo have given fans a taste of what to expect with a three-track EP titled Scorpion Kings Live 2.0

The EP was officially released on Monday 18 July and features Young Stunna, Nobantu Vilakazi, Madumane and  Zwayetoven.
