After surprising fans with a stellar local lineup on Monday 23 May, Rocking the Daisies has officially announced the first international act for the highly-anticipated festival set to take place between 7 and 9 October in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Chart-topping British electronic group, Clean Bandit will be returning to South Africa for a high-class performance and Mzansi cannot wait!

CLEAN BANDIT COMES TO SOUTH AFRICA
Clean Bandit, made up of Grace Chatto and brothers Jake and Luke Patterson, is one of the highest-selling music groups in the world. The group is best known for its hits Symphony, Rockabye and Rather Be featuring singer-songwriter, Jess Glynne.
On Tuesday 24 May, Clean Bandit was announced as one of the international acts set to take the stage at Rocking The Daisies.
“Rocking the Daisies and South Africa officially welcome record-breaking British electro-pop sensation, Clean Bandit,” wrote festival organisers on Twitter.
TWEEPS CAN’T WAIT!
Reacting to the exciting news, tweeps reminisced on some of Clean Bandit’s most popular songs.
“I know I’m not the only one who’s going to lose they sh*t when that violin starts on Rather Be,” wrote one tweep.
“Gonna be singing Rather Be and Symphony at the top of my lungs,” wrote another tweep.
“I am so stoked for them.”

LOCAL ACTS TAKE THE DAISIES STAGE
Some of Mzansi’s biggest local musicians including Matthew Mole, Will Linley and DBN Gogo were announced as local headliners for Rocking the Daisies.
Shannon Valstar, Rocking the Daisies general manager told Channel24 that festival organisers looking to empower the South African entertainment scene.
“We are extremely proud of the incredible international talent that the Rocking in the Daisies stage has been able to attract over the past decade and will continue to create the kind of environment where robust and meaningful cultural exchange between artists and fans of different countries and continents is encouraged to thrive.”
Tickets are set to go on sale on Thursday 26 May.
