Fans of Francois van Coke are in for a treat – a performance like no other and as proudly South African as it gets.

Van Coke’s two biggest passions have always been rock music and Rugby. As a youngster, he had big dreams of a serious rugby career, but rock ‘n roll called louder.

The rocker combines his two big loves with a special show to celebrate his passions.

“Rock ‘n” Rugby’ is set to rock Loftus Park like never before.

And fans will get to satisfy their love of rock and the game, all in one day.

On Saturday, 22 April, Francois van Coke and Die Gevaar will rock Loftus Park in a show to be remembered.

While rugby fans will get to see the Vodacom Bulls and Leinster meet each other at Loftus Versfeld for their United Rugby Championship group phase game, music fans will get to rock their socks off to local rock legend Francois van Coke and Die Rooi Gevaar. All in one day.

Tickets sell for R145 and include a game and a show.

Rock’ n’ Rugby’s program starts at 12 pm at Loftus Park with opening rock acts, Crashcarburn, Zaan Sonnekus, Skelm, and Mensdom.

Just after 3 pm on the day, Van Coke will walk fans over to Loftus Versfeld to watch the match between the Vodacom Bulls and Leinster.

After the game, everyone heads back to Loftus Park, where Francois van Coke and Die Gevaar will perform a power set from 7 pm.

The ticket price includes access to the rock concert at Loftus Park, plus the rugby game at Loftus Versfeld. Bargain!

To help build anticipation, Francois van Coke released his brand new music video for the track “Verlore.”

Verlore” is the latest and last music video from the rocker’s fourth solo album, “Kanniedood.”

“Verlore is a message to my loved ones. Nothing is perfect all the time. We are there for each other even though things have gone wrong in the past and will go wrong again in the future. Even though we are lost, we are found in the noise,” he says.
