‘I Write What I Dream’: Ntsika set to light up Baxter Theatre [watch]

Award-winning muso Ntsika will be performing music from his debut album ‘I Write What I Dream’ at the Baxter Theatre on Sunday 24 April.

Multi-award-winning singer Ntsika Fana Ngxanga, or simply just Ntsika, is set to perform at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town on Sunday 24 April. The talented muso was originally scheduled to perform on Sunday 10 April, but the performance was rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

WHO IS NTSIKA? 

Ntsika is the founder of Nomadic Tribe Entertainment and the lead composer and member of the internationally acclaimed acapella group, The Soil. In March 2019, he released his 14-track album, I Write What I Dream, with standout tracks like Fana Mayiza, Ding Dong and Awundiva featuring Vusi Nova. The album debuted at number 12 on iTunes. 

The album was described as a “timeless body of work that’s truly reflective of the strong and rich African musical heritage”. 

Since the release of I Write What I Dream, the muso has been nominated for two South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and two South African Afro Music Awards (SAAFMA).

NTSIKA PERFORMS AT THE BAXTER THEATRE 

The Baxter Theatre launched its series of outdoor concerts, Sun-Set@Baxter in November 2021. Durban-born muso Majozi kicked off the series and the likes of Zolani Mahola and Matthew Mole have both performed. 

This lineup of top South African artists performing on The Baxter’s lawns has been the perfect summer experience for the entire family to enjoy.

WHERE TO GET TICKETS 

Tickets for Sun-Set@Baxter with Ntskia will be available for R195 on WebTickets. There are also ticket options with picnic baskets available. Those who purchased tickets for the show scheduled for Sunday 10 April will still be able to attend on Sunday 24 April.

Doors for the performance will open at 17:00 and the performance will start at 18:00.
