This New Music Friday there is something for everyone to enjoy! From alternative to pop and amapiano, the list just keeps getting better. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming in hot for New Music Friday with their new album, Unlimited Love. NME notes that the American band sounds like “sure of themselves again” on the 17-track album.

Kicking off New Music Friday are the Red Hot Chili Peppers who have released their 12th studio album, Unlimited Love. The American rock band has reunited with guitarist John Frusciante for the album. The band had plenty of time to work on Unlimited Love through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following a four-year hiatus, local indie band Shortstraw is back with their new album Fine Thanks, And You?’ This 11-track album follows their 2017 release, Those Meddling Kids. The album is fun, light and full of energy!
Viral sensation, Uncle Waffles has released her debut EP, Red Dragon. The amapiano DJ features the likes of Sino Msolo, former Idols SA contestant Dinky Kunene and Tony Duarado.
