COLLABORATING WITH COLDPLAY

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin fell in love with Muzi after seeing him perform in 2019 at the Afropunk Paris music festival. According to Texx and the City, Martin said his performance was “one of the best things” he had ever seen.

The pair teamed up on Sondela Forever, a piano ballad released in March 2020.

“You’d expect a guy like Chris Martin to have this big ego but he doesn’t because he’s got nothing to prove. He’s just like: ‘I think you’re a great musician, I think you can really make this thing happen,’” Muzi told the Bubblegum Club in 2019.
