Four international artists Major League DJz teased a collab with [watch]

After travelling the world with the amapiano sound in 2021, Major League DJz already have a few major collaborations lined up for 2022.

2021 was a big year for twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere aka Major League DJz. The DJ duo was successful in their mission to take amapiano to the world. While travelling, the Dinaledi hitmakers managed to squeeze in some studio time with a few international artists. Here are four artists we can expect to feature on a Major League track in 2022.

1. WILL I AM 

While the brothers were in Dubai, they met up with American rapper and singer Will I Am. From the Black Eyed Peas to releasing solo music, the Scream & Shout collaborator has certainly made his mark in the music industry. 

The twin brothers teased some new music in an Instagram Live video while vibing out with Will I Am, pop sensation Tyla and Uncle Vinny amongst others.

2. MASEGO 

Award-winning musician Masego linked up with Major League DJz while they were in the United States performing at gigs all over the country. Masego is a Jamaican-American musician who is known for his incredible saxophone skills. 

The Tadow hitmaker shared an Instagram story while in the studio with Major League DJz. In the post, Masego is in the booth recording some sounds from his saxophone. 

3. DOJA CAT 

Major League DJz also had the opportunity to connect with pop star Doja Cat while in the United States. Doja Cat is a Grammy-nominated artist whose music career has grown exponentially in 2021. 

Major League DJz took to Twitter in November to announce that they plan to bring home a track with the Woman hitmaker.

4. DIPLO 

American DJ Diplo has always expressed his love for African music. He connected with Major League DJz at his home in Los Angeles where the musicians recorded an episode of the DJ duo’s Balcony Mix Africa

On the mix, Diplo showed off his extraordinary DJing skills and even remixed Brenda Fassie’s Vul’indlela. Although Major League DJz has not teased a collaboration with the Major Lazer member, we can only hope!
