‘Make Some Money’: SA’s LucasRaps features on Snoop Dogg track

Durban-born rapper LucasRaps is flying the country’s flag high, featuring on Snoop Dogg’s latest album, ‘Algorithm Global Edition’.

South African rapper and songwriter LucasRaps, born Luke Duncan Malong, made it onto major US rapper Snoop Dogg’s latest project. LucasRaps is living the dream!

Getting recognised by an iconic artist like Snoop Dogg is a huge deal for any artist, let alone an artist from Mzansi.

LucasRaps made his break in 2020 when he featured on Mzansi’s newly named hottest MC — Blxckie’s hit Big Time Sh’lappa… and he has been making waves ever since.

LUCASRAPS BAGS A FEATURE ON SNOOP DOGG’S PROJECT

Snoop Dogg’s new album, Algorithm Global Edition, is a rather special one as he gave a bunch of talented artists the opportunity to feature on it … and LucasRaps has been one of them.

The album was released on Friday 10 December and LucasRaps is overflowing with gratitude. It is a dream come true for the young artist.

Algorithm Global Edition features 32 artists on 25 tracks, with an added 15 edited bonus tracks. The track LucasRaps features on is with Fabolous, Dave East and Snoop Dogg, is called Make Some Money.

LucasRaps is signed to Def Jam Africa. It is thanks to his association with this label that he got this unbelievable opportunity.

TimesLIVE reported that Snoop joined forces with Def Jam Records at the middle of the year which led to LucasRaps featuring on his album.
