It’s Christmas Eve! Besides wrapping your last-minute Christmas gifts or looking for the perfect turkey to pop into the oven, you’re definitely going to need a playlist to groove your way into Christmas Day. To make sure you have the perfect Christmas, here are a few essentials to add to your playlist.

1. SIA – ‘SNOWMAN

Sia’s Snowman is at the top of our Christmas playlist. The song was released in 2017 as a part of the Grammy award-winning singer’s Everyday Is Christmas album. The track is a beautiful holiday song with a warm Christmas touch.

2. BOBBY HELMS – ‘JINGLE BELL ROCK’

Bobby Helms’ 1957 Christmas classic, Jingle Bell Rock has been remade several times over the years. The track even got a feature in Mean Girls back in 2004. The song has been covered by American country stars George Strait, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert but the original still stands out.

3. ARIANA GRANDE – ‘SANTA TELL ME’

American pop star Ariana Grande added some bounce to Christmas with her 2014 track Santa Tell Me. Grande’s song has recently become popular on video-sharing app TikTok as many get ready for the holiday season.

4. MARIAH CAREY – ‘ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU’

Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You just may be the biggest Christmas song ever. Carey’s track recently hit one billion streams on Spotify. Her album with the same name has been certified five times platinum in the United Kingdom and seven times platinum in Canada.

5. MICHAEL BUBLÉ – ‘I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS’

American musician Michael Bublé puts an amazing jazz spin on Bing Crosby’s 1943 hit I’ll Be Home for Christmas. The song has become an essential on many Christmas playlists with Bublé’s version being one of the most popular.

6. DONNY HATHAWAY – ‘THIS CHRISTMAS’

American soul singer Donny Hathaway released This Christmas in 1970. Although the song is mostly soul, it has some jazzy elements to it too. The song has been covered by several musicians including CeeLo Green, Lady Antebellum, Chris Brown and Macy Gray.

7. BRYSON TILLER FEATURING HALO – ‘WINTER WONDERLAND’

R&B star Bryson Tiller put a soulful spin on a Christmas classic, Winter Wonderland. The award-winning star featured his eight-year-old daughter Halo on the song. Winter Wonderland is a wholesome duet and this might just be the start of an exciting music career for Halo.
