Cassper Nyovest’s new single, ‘Put Your Hands Up’, is his first solo hip-hop release since his 2020 ‘Any Minute Now’ album.

Nearly a year after the release of his amapiano album, Sweet And Short 2.0, Cassper Nyovest released a new hip-hop single, Put Your Hands Up, on Friday 19 August. Although the track has received mixed reviews from fans, Metro FM radio host, Tbo Touch is loving it! During his drivetime show he played a snippet of the track for his listeners.

CASSPER RELEASES ‘PUT YOUR HANDS UP’
Since releasing his amapiano album Sweet And Short 2.0 in June 2021, Cassper Nyovest has turned his focus to his alcohol brand, Billiato and his collaboration with Drip footwear, Root of Fame. The rapper’s new single, Put Your Hands Up, marks his first solo hip-hop release since his 2020 album, Any Minute Now.
According to Spotify, Put Your Hands Up debuted at number 34 on their Daily Top Songs South Africa chart with more than 9,000 streams.
Since its release, the song has achieved more than 27 000 streams on Spotify.

While on air during his Metro FM radio show, The Touchdown, Tbo Touch praised Cassper Nyovest’s Put Your Hands Up and called it “the biggest single right now”. The radio host then played a snippet of the track for his listeners.
“I told you, this track is a problem, put your hands up! Ladies and gentlemen, Cass is back,” said Tbo Touch.
“This track goes in…We needed this. Hip-hop needed this. I’m dropping bars and horns, put your hands up!”
