Award-winning rapper Big Zulu topped Twitter’s trending list after releasing his diss track, 150 Bars (Ke Hip Hop Dawg) on Friday 19 August. In the track, the Zulu rapper dissed the likes of AKA, KO, Stogie T, Emtee and Cassper Nyovest. Nearly two weeks after the track was released, Cassper Nyovest has released his own fiery diss track and tweeps are loving it!

CASSPER NYOVEST CLAPS BACK AT BIG ZULU 

Cassper Nyovest released his diss track to Big Zulu on Friday 2 September and has already caused quite a stir on social media. In the track titled 4 Steps Back, the businessman and rapper does not hold back with the punchlines. 

The track opens with a 20-second audio clip of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema in Parliament. Cassper claims he “put Big Zulu on” after featuring on his track, Ama Million in 2019.

Just hours after Cassper’s fiery diss track was released, the rapper received high praise from SA hip-hop fans for his bars. 

“No, Cassper did do Big Zulu dirty. Close friends please check on the upcoming artist at 36,” wrote one tweep. 

“Yall gotta give this man his flowers bafwethu. No one will ever be on Cassper’s level in this game. Yeah I said it!!!” wrote another tweep. 

“Cassper showed us that [he] is that special kid in the house that everyone can’t go against.”

CASSPER JETS OFF TO THE UK FOR AMA FEST 

Cassper Nyovest jetted off to the United Kingdom for Ama Fest on Saturday 3 September. The festival is dubbed the UK’s biggest amapiano festival and will feature the likes of Musa Keys, Felo Le Tee, Kamo Mphela, Uncle Waffles and Pabi Cooper. 

Mellow & Sleazy, Costa Titch, De Mthuda, Young Stunna and Boohle are also set to perform.
