American pop star Britney Spears is ending off 2021 victorious after winning her conservatorship battle against her father Jamie Spears. The Grammy award-winning singer is ready to get back into the studio and teased the release of new music soon.
WHEN LAST DID BRITNEY SPEARS RELEASE NEW MUSIC?
No one can deny that Britney Spears has an amazing discography. From her 1999 love song Crazy to her 2003 mega-hit Toxic, Spears boasts over 20 hit songs and is one of the world’s best-selling artists.
The 40-year-old pop star last released an album in 2016. Her ninth album Glory released through RCA Records peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 charts. The 12-track album featured her hit Make Me… with rap vocals from G-Eazy.
She officially released the bonus track from Glory in 2020 titled Mood Ring.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday 22 December, Britney Spears showed off her vocal range while taking a mirror selfie in her bathroom. Before deleting the caption of the video, Billboard reports that the pop star teased new music and also touched on her conservatorship battle against her family.
Part of her caption read: “I will be my own cheerleader .. why ???? I’m here to remind my white ‘classy’ family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me nor will I ever forget !!!!”
“Pssss new song in the works. I’m gonna let you know what I mean !!!!”

THE WORLD CAN’T WAIT
The award-winning pop star teasing new music has excited several music lovers on Twitter. One fan is excited to be getting new music from Beyoncé, Rihanna and Britney. “I can see my Spotify wrapped now,” wrote the tweep.
“Can’t wait for new music from the Princess of pop”.
“I’m supporting her and all her new found glory till I die!!”.
