Over the years, Adele has always been very much a solo musician and performer. Even when the British songstress is on stage, it’s mainly just a microphone, an orchestra and her powerful voice.
Social media users however had a field day auditioning to be one of her backup dancers and interestingly enough, rapper Megan Thee Stallion also got thrown into the mix.
WHY NO BACKUP DANCERS, ADELE?
Off the back of the release of her new album, 30, one Twitter user questioned why the Grammy award-winning singer has no backup dancers and naturally, the question sparked a few humorous answers.
One tweep wrote: “Because her music is made for crying, you think I’m checking the choreography at her shows. F*ck no, I’m texting exes from 2013.”
Another said the 33-year-old singer having backup dancers “literally doesn’t make any sense.

MEGAN THEE STALLION AND ADELE’S UNEXPECTED ‘COLLABORATION’
The responses to the tweet got even funnier when one tweep put Megan Thee Stallion’s choreography over Adele’s hit song Water Under the Bridge. The choreography synched with the music is just perfect.

THE WORLD AUDITIONS FOR ADELE
TikTok quickly caught wind of the unexpected collaboration” and “auditioned” to become backup dancers for the Grammy award-winning singer.
Each audition had the perfect energy for the stage but only Adele will have the final say about who becomes her first-ever backup dancers.
