Better thangs is what Ciara wants this Christmas and the singer made that known when she shared a Christmas song snippet on her social media platforms on 8 December, dancing around her house belting out her wish list.
The video features the 37-year-old singer draped in a red-and-white Santa-inspired body suit paired with baggy jeans that sat below her waistline. The body suit had a plunging neckline and matching fur brim, and she completed the look with a set of fuzzy festive gloves.

Wilson Russell’s wife was not holding back on her diamond-studded wish list. The wish list includes among other things diamond rings, earrings, an iPhone, a baecation with her bae to the Bahamas, Cuba and Italy.
‘BETTER THANGS’ FEATURE SUMMER WALKER
The holiday-themed song is a Christmas version of her June release, Better Thangs. The song’s original chorus which includes the lines Better things, better thing, all new everything remained the same on the Christmas version.
The feel-good, up-tempo R&B anthem Better Thangs features R&B sensation Summer Walker. The song encourages listeners to level up and let go of things they can’t control.

Talking to Billboard during a Zoom meeting interview, Ciara said: “For me joy is the ultimate feeling that I was feeling when creating Better Thangs, and I wanted for people to feel that with this record.”
This is the second time Ciara has collaborated with Walker.The two joined creative heads on Ciara’s narration on Ciara’s Prayer which appeared on Walker’s 2021 Still Over It project.
8TH STUDIO ALBUM FINISHED
In a conversation with Zane Lowe of Apple, the Goodies singer explained what it felt like collaborating with Summer again after pitching a few songs to her.
“Summer’s special. Summer’s voice is incredible. I think she’s blessed us with something so unique and sonically,” she said.
Ciara says her next album is finished, but the release date still needs to be announced. The album is Ciara’s 8th studio album and will be released on Republic Records and Uptown Records in partnership with her Beauty Marks Entertainments.
The album will feature “super hard-core R&B” and Ciara is comparing the album to her outstanding 2004 debut album, Goodies
