Musos 3Face & Cee celebrate summer in ‘Revive’ music video [watch]

Cape Town musos 3Face & Cee made up of Joshua Eagles and Cedrick Aberle, have come a long way since kicking off their music journey in 2016. The pair released the music video for their single Revive on Thursday 24 February and have received raving reviews! The track also features on season two of Netflix’s hit show, Blood & Water.

WHO ARE 3FACE & CEE 

3Face & Cee started their friendship after a freestyle rap session in high school. They started recording, producing and creative directing their own projects. 

As per SA Music News, the pair are genre-bending musicians who use their skills to create a fusion of dance, disco and hip-hop music. 

They draw inspiration from some of the biggest artists in the world including Mac Miller, Doja Cat, rapper Isaiah Rashad and American duo, Earthgang. 

Their debut album, The God Complex, was released in 2020. Since then, they have released several singles including Revive which features on season two of Blood & Water. 

‘REVIVE’ MUSIC VIDEO 

3Face& Cee’s music video for Revive was officially released on 24 February. Directed by Julian Evans, Revive is a smooth hip-hop/pop track and the visuals are full of fun in the sun.  

A local woman takes the Durban streets on her roller skates as she enjoys the cool ocean breeze. She also shows off her cool dance moves to the Cape Town duo’s track!

WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE DUO? 

After dropping a hot music video like Revive, fans will certainly be waiting for the next music release from 3Face & Cee. 

SA Music News reports that the duo are set to release six new singles in the next few months, as they hope to break into the local and international music scene.
