Local celebs and socialites who embrace the LGBTQI + community have graced the star-studded Feather Awards 2022 this evening, Thursday, 10 November to be part of history in the making.

Held at the historic Market Theatre in Newtown, many of your faves have risen to the occasion where fashion is concerned.
The South African takes a look at some of the stunning celebrities who’ve graced the pink carpet this evening.

Former 3sum member Amstel Maboa rocked up on the pink carpet in a tight-fitting black top with sharp shoulder points and colourful feathery pants to complement the theme.
Actress, Rosemary Zimu wore an orange wide-slitted dress with a touch of tribal print on the pink carpet while Chef Nti made an appearance in the same coloured dress but longer and with a touch of lace in the upper body.
Gomora actress, Siphesihle Ndaba wore a two-piece eye-catchy garment with matching heels.
Another actress, who never disappointed was Nambitha Ben-Mazwi who wore a hugging black lace dress with distinct gold feathers running across it.
Queer social media beauty Tumi Powerhouse, who won Socialite of the Year, also held no prisoners in making a statement tonight.
Adorned in a monochrome dress, Tumi Powerhouse, made an ever-lasting impression.
