MACY GRAY’S REMARKS ON THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY

Singer Macy Gray joined controversial television presenter Piers Morgan on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, for a conversation about racism, diversity and changing the United States flag.

The two also dived into topics about the LGBTQI+ community where Gray shared her opinion about transgender women.

“I will say this and everybody’s gonna hate me but as a woman…Just because you go change your parts doesn’t make you a woman, sorry,” said the 54-year-old singer.

“If you want me to call you ‘her’, I will cause that’s what you want. But that doesn’t make you a woman. Just cause I call you a ‘her’ and its cause you got a surgery,” she continued.
