NORMANI OOZES CONFIDENCE AND SEX APPEAL

Wild Side is a slow, sensual tune that is different from what fans expect from the former Fifth Harmony pop star. This song is Aaliyah-esque with the tempo and pulsating drum beat.

The visuals and choreography that channels videos from the late ’90s and early 2000s era of R&B and pop videos. The lyrics, high-quality production and Normani’s vocals put any listener’s head in the clouds.

Normani’s confidence oozes in the video and brings the sex appeal alongside Cardi B who’s never shy to own her sexuality and matches the energy of the song with her slow-burning verse.

NORMANI AND CARDI B’S EYE-CATCHING WARDROBE

Normani switches through unforgettable looks and sets. She dons a velvet dress in a mod red room, an all-leather outfit in a futuristic-looking chrome building, and matches Cardi B with a rhinestone bodysuit.

This video was directed by Tanu Muino from Cardi B’s Up and choreographed by Sean Bankhead from her last video, Motivation. The video also pays homage to Janet Jackson in terms of choreography and sex appeal, Missy Elliots and TLC with the futuristic visuals and Normani’s rhinestone piece is a direct reference to Debra Paget Indian Tomb from the late ’50s.
