Tweeps weigh in on the ‘RHOD’ stars that did not come back

Did Londie London fumble the bag by leaving ‘The Real Housewives of Durban’? Tweeps seem to think her divorce would have been content gold.

The stars of the new season of The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) have been announced and from the second season, three people did not make the cut and will not be starring in the new season.

Former Ambitiouz Entertainment singer, Londie London who was married to KZN businessman known as Hlubi Nkosi will not be returning for the new season. Jacob Zuma’s baby mama Nonkanyiso ” LaConco” Conco and Uthando Nesthembu star Thobile Mseleku will also not be returning.

Tweeps have come out with various theories as to why the ladies chose to not make a comeback to the show and a number of them are sayong that Londie’s departure was mainly because of her divorce from her husband Nkosi.

@RealTdk1 wrote: “If I was Londie, I was gonna come back and face the music… People get cheated on all the time… Marriages fail… But you need to get those coins baby girl…”

@Nampree wrote: “I think Londie decided to not come back. Those girls especially Annie would’ve drilled her about her ex. Also maybe she isn’t living as glamour as she did before. I’m not shocked Laconco is not coming back. Thobile ke yena kuyaz’fanela”.

@QueenKunta_198 wrote: “Londie was never going to come back after the part she played in exposing LaC and petal’s non-existent relationship, she would have also have to deal with lowering her standards after telling LaC that she works for her money when in actually she was balling on her ex’s wealth”.

@Mam_Bhele wrote: “I really hope Londie has a plan because if I were her I would have used the housewives platform to grow my brand just like what LaC & LeJoy did. Worse yena she has real talent in music, she has fumbled this time all in the name of not wanting to explain her divorce”.

@MissTinah_M said, “Laconco did good by leaving. Understandable for Londie not to return after going through her divorce. Life has drastically changed since then. Thobile should have never gone on the show to begin with. Her brand is just not suited for a show like housewives”.

According to Multichoice, the new faces Mbali Ngiba, Slindile Wendy Ndlovu and Maria Valaskatzis are set to be joining the cast. The returning cast members include Annie Mthembu, Jojo Robinson, Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo.

Returning cast members have reassured fans that what was left in Season 2 will definitely be picked up in Season 3, and that fans may get to see them differently.
