He was framed by his then-close friend, Mindlos (Mpho Molepo).

However, he hid gold bricks worth R8 million in a grave before he got locked up.

When he gets home his sister is drunk, their house is dilapidated.

The graveyard where he buried the gold has changed and he forgot what he engraved on the tombstone.

It was a word his girlfriend, Neo (Keke Mputhi), used to say when she climaxed during sex.

He has to find Neo, who is now in Durban with his nemesis, Mindlos – now the biggest criminal in Durban, and somehow have sex with her and get her to say the word.”

THABO MALEMA SCOOPS SAFTA FOR ‘SCANDAL!’ ROLE

Dulas actor Thabo Malema, scooped a SAFTA for Best Actor in a soapie for his role as Captain Bohang in e.tv’s soapie Scandal!  in 2022.

He tells Drum: “Scandal was one of the best things to have ever happened to me in my career. I had been trying to get into soapies until Scandal! happened.”

“I was broken-hearted. All I want is to be given any role so I can pull it off. Why must I be a half-abuser if the character in real life is brutal?

“When people were angry, I was disheartened as they were directing the hatred to the actor and not the character,” he explains.

He also caught South Africa’s attention when he appeared in Chicken Licken’s advert as Michael Nyathi driving around town with the talking car Kitt.

“Kitt wasn’t taken care of in the States so at the border he found amapiano and Chicken Licken, stoko (women), and thought Mzansi is too colourful so decided that he is not going back. When you get to the place of honey would you go back to the desert?” he says laughing.
