The last few minutes of Stranger Things season three left fans on the edge of their seats. Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) was presumed dead, after assisting to close the gate between the real world and the “upside-down” world, it was revealed that he is alive but is in Russia!

Seeing that Hopper had left, Joyce (Winona Ryder) had taken custody of Eleven (Mille Bobby Brown) and her two sons Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) she was ready to get a fresh start somewhere else after a rocky three seasons.

Stranger Things season four was confirmed in 2018 by executive producer Shawn Levy. In 2019, the creators of the science fiction series Matt and Ross Duffer mentioned that the biggest thing that’s going to happen is that the series is going to “open up a little bit”.

“Not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins,” Matt Duffer said to Entertainment Weekly.

Stranger Things season four was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it is set to be bigger than ever.

In the teaser released on Saturday 6 November, The Byers family and Eleven have officially relocated to California and life is fairly different for them. Eleven mentioned that she even likes school now in a letter she writes to Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard).

A full-length trailer is yet to be released, but from the teaser, things are certainly heating up for the Stranger Things cast.
