Marjorie Harvey, wife of American comedian Steve Harvey, is seen learning how to dance in true South African style from social media star Lasizwe Dambuza in a video posted to her Instagram account on Wednesday 11 August.
MAJORIE DANCES TO ‘UMSEBENZI WETHU’
Marjorie Harvery got down to Busta 929 and Mpura’s Umsebenzi Wethu (feauring Zuma, Mr JazziQ, Lady Du, Reece Madlisa). In a video posted to her Instagram Reels, she is seen getting down to the Zekethe and comes quite close to Dakiwe!
In a behind-the-scenes clip shared to her Instagram, the 56-year-old is seen learning how to do the dance moves.
“Y’all fancy,” she is heard saying.

SOUTH AFRICANS LOVE MARJORIE
A welcome to South Africa dinner was thrown for Marjorie and Steve Harvey by Pan-African diversified investment company the Beryl Group and South African celebrities Amanda Du-Pont and Ntandoyenkosi Kunene later took to Instagram to gush over how loving and graceful Marjorie Harvey is.
Swazi-South African actress Amanda Du-Pont expressed how loving Marjorie was while Miss South Africa 2016, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene gifted the Hollywood celebrity a copy of her children’s book Cory In The Universe for her grandchildren to enjoy.
“@marjorie_harvey my mandate was to welcome you????and make sure you feel the love! I didn’t expect you to do the very same for me! You are such a gem and inspirational woman. I appreciate all your kind words and encouragement, you made me “ugly cry” even. ???? You are everything goals – It was such a pleasure to share a moment with you xx,” wrote Amanda Du-Pont on Instagram.
“There’s nothing as beautiful as meeting someone and they are just as beautiful and graceful as they are in pictures. @marjorie_harvey thank you for being so kind. May God bless you abundantly. I truly hope that your grandchildren will enjoy this little gift ????????????,” wrote Kunene on Instagram.
Lasizwe jokes he is Harveys’ ‘son’
Lasize Dambuza also claimed he is the “problematic” son of Steve and Marjorie!
“I got a call from my parents. They wanted to see their problematic son. ???? @iamsteveharveytv @marjorie_harvey #TheHarveys -Steve Harvey reminds me of my father… He would give the same look when I started going a bit gay????️????????????,” wrote Lasizwe on Instagram.
Marjorie rolled with it and showed the social media star some love in the comments section of his selfies saying he is “so handsome”.
“@marjorie_harvey Thank you mom❤️,” he responded.
While Steve Harvey was filming Family Feud in South Africa, he also visited fiery investigative journalist, Devi Sankaree Govender where he subtly flirted with her, letting her know she’s “kind of fine”.
