RHONA ERASMUS ASKS MEL WHY PEET DOESN’T PRACTICE LAW

The drama on the Real Housewives van Pretoria continues to heat up as Rhona Erasmus asks Mel Viljoen why her husband Peet Viljoen no longer practices law.

Rhona: “Peet and I were talking about our studies the other day. Then he kind of gave me the impression that education studies were, you know, it was less than… he studied something much harder and that studies were significantly more expensive, than what either my husband or I studied. So, I was wondering why he doesn’t practice anymore. He studied law right?”.

Mel: “Why would you want to study law when you can be the CEO of Tammy Taylor and use your law degree in business?

Rhona: “I’m curious why he doesn’t practice law anymore, as that is what he studied.”

Mel: “So, I think it would be a great opportunity for you and Peet to sit around a table and you can ask him directly”.

Rhona then asks Mel if she could explain and she responded saying she has a very brief version.

“So, the reason he wasn’t practicsing when I met him some nine years ago. At the time, I had only just met him. So, the story is quite long” said the Tammy Taylor Nails SA founder.

Rhona then asked for a condensed version and Kiki La Coco chipped in saying she was only interested to hear it.

“It was during the time of the credit crunch and remember that he only did deeds. At the time of the credit crunch something happened. So, at the end of the day I’ve been to court with Peet over his case,” she continued.

“And it was a case of you having to be able to say to someone ‘Rhona, if I charge you for something’. Then I have to say ‘Rhona I did this, then you need to be able to say ‘I did it or I didn’t do it’. So, that’s why I said I can’t do the story justice. They stated that he did 250 things, 250 times. But when he asked the court to show him what he did. They can’t tell him to do this day,” she added.
