It’s that time fo the year again! Yes, Photo Fair Africa is set to take place at the Meerendal Wine Estate in Cape Town from 28 February to 1 March 2020.

The event was organised by Farhan Achava of Admired in Africa as well as Photo Plus Africa who ultimately joined forces with one of South Africa’s most successful photographers, Brett Florens, to develop an extraordinary experience for photographers that is both entertaining and educational.

Farhan’s experience of serving the photography industry combined with Brett’s experience of what photographer’s expectations and needs are, bring together the best of both worlds that will leave visitors and exhibitors thrilled to have attended.

About Photo Fair Africa Cape Town

Photo Fair Africa is a photography event designed to inspire and educate.

“Whether you are a budding enthusiast or seasoned pro, the fair will leave you feeling motivated and rearing to dive deeper into the wonderful world of photography.”

It is said that exhibitors are bringing great speakers to the fair to share a wealth of knowledge and experience in all the different fields of photography, such as portraiture, wedding, wildlife, commercial, and lifestyle photography.

The event will move to other parts of the country later in the year.

Take your camera

Organisers are encouraging those attending to take their cameras as there will be a lot to photograph both indoors and out.

“There will also be great opportunities to practice what you have learned and exhibitors will ensure that they have great interactive workshops where you will be able to participate, shooting images that you will be able to use for your portfolio or marketing.”
