We can’t wait to see what unfolds this season and how viewers will react to the captivating plot twists and character journeys.”

Former Uzalo actress Nelisa Mchunu told Daily Sun that she enjoyed playing the villain character but it was crazy.

“I won’t lie, she was an intense character. She went through so many different emotions throughout the season. It was fun and challenging. It was so much fun playing a killer.”

Mchunu also compared her current role to her breakout role in SABC1’s soapie Uzalo as the fun-loving Fikile:

“The way I acted was pretty much the same but obviously, I had to channel different things because the characters are different. That was the only change, channeling different energies.”

She adds that she used the same mantra and the same way of getting into character.  Season two of Isifiso will air on 10 April 2023 on Mondays at 8 pm on Mzansi Magic.
