All eyes have been on the Prince and Princess of Wales since the release of the controversial Harry & Meghan docuseries, but the royals themselves have kept tight-lipped.

Friends of Prince William have however spoken out, and reportedly he is not too happy about the series.

HARRY & MEGHAN’ DOCUSERIES: WILLIAM WON’T WATCH

Friends of Prince William told the Sunday Times that he will never watch the series.

“He says he will never watch it and I know he definitely won’t,” the source said. Another source confirmed the statement as: “Correct,” as reported by Mail Online.

According to the reports, the Prince of Wales is “looking to the future” and “getting on with the job”.

Prince William reportedly also told his friends to not “fuel the conflict” by retaliating to any barbs from the show. This according to Mail Online.

BROTHERS ON OPOSITE SIDES

Since the release of the Netflix docuseries, friends of Prince William revealed that the part of the series that upset William most is the interview where Harry suggests that his brother might have married Kate because she “fits the mould”.

Harry said: “I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould as opposed to somebody who you perhaps are destined to be with.

“The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum certainly made most of her decisions – if not all of them – from her heart. And I am my mother’s son”.

THE ROYALS: AN UPSET FAMILY

There has been no official comment from the royal family with regards to the docuseries yet, but according to insiders they have been particularly upset about the series’ criticism of the late Queen Elizabeth and her Commonwealth legacy.

Mail Online also reports that royal sources are slamming Meghan for claims that she wasn’t prepared for royal life.

In the docuseries, the Duchess of Sussex claims that she had no idea what a walk-about was. She also had to Google the national anthem and did not know how to curtsy. She even gives a haphazardly demonstration of her first attempt.

A royal source told the Sunday Times that Meghan was in fact, given a 30-point dossier six months before the wedding to explain her future role by Harry’s then private secretary Ed Lane Fox. She was also reportedly provided with a list of experts who could help her prepare for her new position.

HARRY AND WILLIAM: STILL FAMILY

Despite the appeared strife between Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Prince and Princess of Wales, the couples will reportedly still be sending Christmas gifts to each other’s children.

According to another friend, the royal family is keeping track of the headlines relating to the docuseries, but King Charles III and Queen Camilla will not watch it either.

This despite Harry’s hopes that through the docuseries his father and brother would get a better understanding of what he and Meghan have gone through, a source said.
