MPHO J MOLEPO MAKING ARTS ACCESSIBLE

Molepo’s plan with the academy is to make arts accessible while empowering young people in communities.

“The festival also allows young people to look at the present status quo. We are using theatre as a voice for the voiceless,” he told the publication.

“We are making sure that theatre stays alive in Alex. We are using theatre as a weapon and the pulse of the community of Alex and city of Joburg,” Molepo said.
