MICHAEL B JORDAN ON FILM, WORKING WITH DENZEL WASHINGTON

Speaking to USA Today, Jordan spoke about enjoying the change of pace that this film gave him and the vulnerability this role gave him.

“I felt safe to be able to go into this, to explore these characters, and to be vulnerable in that type of way,” says Jordan, who spoke glowingly about working with Denzel Washington.

“Everybody wants to work with him, and he’s a very selective guy, so the fact that he wanted to work with me was a huge deal for me.”

The article revealed that filming began in December last year and finished off in April. Jordan mentioned that when filming started, he was required to get tested almost six times a week, as the US vaccination roll-out hadn’t kicked off at the beginning of the production. The film is set for a December release in US cinemas.
