‘Firefly Lane’: Season two part two trailer, release date and more

Netflix has dropped the trailer and release date for ‘Firefly Lane’ season two part two starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke.

Netflix has dropped the trailer and announced the release date for season two part two of FireFly Lane on 27 March.

WATCH THE FIREFLY LANE SEASON TWO PART TWO TRAILER

The trailer for season two part two of Firefly Lane has arrived. The series stars leads Katherine Heigl as Tully Hart and Sarah Chalke as Kate Mularkey. The first part of season two followed the roller coaster of Kate and Tully’s 30-year-long friendship with dramatic highs and lows.

A car accident had seemingly separated the best friend duo forever. The trailer shows the friendship between Kate and Tully through the years and climaxes at the point where Kate needs Tully the most. Kate had been diagnosed with breast cancer and the trailer shows the different emotions she faces including just wanting her best friend back.

Season two part two releases on 27 April.

“For Kate and Tully, no obstacle is too big when it comes to their lifelong friendship. But is there one mistake that could tear them apart forever?” reads the synopsis.

THE SECOND AND FINAL SEASON 

Netflix announced that will end with season two. The season will be packed with a total of 16 episodes. The first nine episodes will be released on 2 December.

The remaining seven episodes will be released in 2023. Netflix also released a first look at the upcoming season which includes Tully (Heigl) and Kate (Chalke) throughout their 30-year friendship. This season the pair will face “the ultimate test of their friendship and the path to sustain the other relationships in their lives,” according to the streaming platform.

Chalke and Heigl will be joined by the following actors this season:

  • India de Beaufort (Charlotte)
  • Greg Germann (Benedict)
  • Jolene Purdy (Justine)
  • Ignacio Serricchio (Danny).
