AMAPIANO TO THE WORLD

Ampiano might be South Africa’s best export when it comes to music. The genre recently got a nod from popular music magazine Rolling Stone.

Sharing her thoughts, energetic musician Busiswa mentioned that she felt it was the first time a genre had dominated South African airplay more than international music.

A few of our amapiano stars are travelling the world, sharing the genre with other people. Ke Star hitmaker Focalistic, recently travelled to Dubai sharing the sound with people in the United Arab Emirates.

DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic and DBN Gogo will be travelling to the UK in September to drop some hot amapiano tunes.
