Grammy award-winning artist Drake has announced the completion of his sixth album, Certified Lover Boy. Drake made the announcement on OVO Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday show on radio streaming platform SiriusXM.
SIXTH ALBUM ON THE WAY
Drake has been teasing his loyal supporters for a while about this project, it was meant to be released in January this year but was postponed by the rap mogul.
In a brief appearance on Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday radio show, Drake announced:
Album’s ready, album’s cooked, looking forward to delivering it to you. ‘Certified Lover Boy’ on the way and that’s for anyone in the way, said Drake on the show.

After announcing the big news, Drake sent a message out to the listeners like any typical radio host on a weekend and hoped that everyone is blessed and having a good time.
I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone’s locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend, he said.
And for the rest of you heathens, I wanna tell you, ’cause I know you’re listening, don’t trouble people’s kids, don’t bother people’s soul. Know what I’m sayin, he continued.

Although there’s no official release date, Drake fans have already speculated that Certified Lover Boy will be released on the same day as Kanye West’s upcoming album Donda.
