Is this ‘Bridgerton’ star Regé-Jean Page’s secret girlfriend?

Sorry, ladies, but it looks as if Bridgerton’s dashing duke Regé-Jean Page is taken…although he prefers to ‘neither confirm nor deny’.

The 31-year-old actor — who won a host of new fans with his portrayal of the hunky Duke of Hastings in the steamy Netflix show Bridgerton — is reportedly smitten with freelance copywriter and part-time footballer Emily Brown, who plays for South-West London’s FBB Warriors.

Jean-Rege Page and Emily Brown

According to the Mail on Sunday newspaper, Page and Brown actually share a home together in North London, which they bought in February last year, and the couple were spotted last week embracing in the street before he flew to New York.

However, Page referred to the articles in The Daily Mail and What’s New 2day and said that he can neither confirm or deny the relationship.

It appears Page’s private life has been mostly shrouded in mystery with his wild teenage years as the purple-haired lead singer of a band called The Super Nashwan Kids, only recently emerged.

The duke and those racy scenes

Page recently took the time to address rumours that he dated co-star, Phoebe Dynevor.

“I think everything you need to know is on camera. That’s why we presented it so beautifully for you,” the actor said, seemingly side-stepping the question, during a joint interview on Access Hollywood.

A spoon that Page seductively licks in one of the Bridgerton scenes, has become a breakout star of the show and even has its own Instagram account.

‘Saturday Night Live’ and James Bond

Meanwhile, it has just been announced that Regé-Jean will host Saturday Night Live for the first time next Saturday 21 February, while Bad Bunny will be the musical guest.

And Page has been tipped to take over from Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, with Bridgerton co-star Adjoa Andoh among those backing him to get the role.

She said: “I think the thing with Regé is, he is beautiful — don’t tell him I said that — he is very smart, he is a fantastically funny sharp actor so he could take on any role you give him really.

“Annoyingly, he could. So yes he would be a marvellous James Bond if they ever decided to go that way, no doubt at all.”
