Good vs Evil: Charlize Theron & Kerry Washington star in Netflix film

South African-born actress Charlize Theron and American actress Kerry Washington portray good vs evil in the Netflix trailer for The School of Good and Evil which released on Monday 7 June. 

CHARLIZE THERON AND KERRY WASHINGTON STAR IN UPCOMING NETFLIX FILM

Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron star in Netflix’s upcoming film The School of Good and Evil. The film is based on an international best selling book series by Soman Chainani. 

The story follows best friends Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) who find themselves on opposing sides of a modern fairy tale.  The duo are swept away into an enchanted school where young heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance of good and evil.

Theron plays the role of Lady Lesso, who is described as glamorous and acid-tongued. Washington on the other hand plays Professor Dovey who oversees the School for Good.

The 69-second-long trailer is narrated by Theron before she unveils what her character as well as Washinton’s looks like. The trailer ends with images of Wylie and Caruso’s characters being kidnapped and taken to the school by a flying creature.

“Welcome to The School for Good & Evil, where every great fairytale begins… Directed by Paul Feig, The School for Good & Evil follows best friends Sophie and Agatha, who find themselves on opposing sides of a modern fairy tale when they’re swept away into an enchanted school where young heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance of good and evil,” reads the synopsis of the film.
