‘THE BRAAI SHOW’ FIRST EPISODE

The first episode of The Braai Show with Cassper as the host, aired on Wednesday 8 September and it received amazing reviews from fans. The award-winning rapper hosted Miss Universe 2020, Zozibini Tunzi for the first episode.

Hours before the first episode aired, AKA released a statement saying his battle for The Braai Show is not over and he will continue to fight for ownership of the show.

A portion of his statement read: “Many artists have gone done the route of letting go of legal battles such as this and thus we suffer and end up with no ownership of our work.”

He wished his rival Cassper Nyovest the best for season two of the show and said: “It’s just business.”

CASSPER DOESN’T MAKE HIS MARK

According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Cassper did not manage to make his mark with The Braai Show in terms of the ratings.

Mphela reported that Cassper’s debut on The Braai Show pulled in over 2.2 million viewers.

“That’s 600k less viewers than what season one pulled – which was 2.88 million.”

Although The Braai Show trended at number one on Twitter, it seems not everyone tuned in for Cassper’s debut.
